How Patients Feel
POSITIVEPatient Reviews
1I can't believe the review from 12/16/08 because nothing in the review is even close to what I have experienced and so I obviously can't say it didn't happen, but I can tell you my experience with Dr. Carlton. I have been to him a few times, from extractions of wisdom teeth (1 abscessed into my sinus cavity and was an emergency situation and they fit me in the same day) on 2 separate occasions to a molar removal and now a dental implant. Dr. Carlton is friendly, technically excellent and has steady hands. They usually give you a choice of something like Valium sedation where you take the pill before you get there, or they will do IV sedation. I've always been awake-- they obviously don't offer general anesthesia, so you won't be asleep during the procedure. (unless you get sleepy from valium and things like that). I have found him to be very fast and I've never been in pain. I'd say the only issue I have had is that sometimes it is hard to get through to the front desk-- busy phone lines/I think he is closed on Wednesdays. HOWEVER, I'd prefer a busy signal to the new automated-leave-a-message thing that many doctors have moved to. I would most definitely recommend him to my family and friends.
