This office is the only one I have ever run into that gets you into an exam within 5 minutes of arrival nearly every time. Once seated, a kind dental assistant is likely to spend time chatting with you, rather than just strapping you in. Sometimes, it's like seeing a very competent friend for services. The Doc gets to you within another 5 or (no more than) 10 minutes, and does a very thorough, very quick job. I have seen her for everything from a routine cleaning all the way up to a couple of crown installations. Never have I felt more welcomed. Once, when I was in a terribly sad mood, trying to hide my upset from other events, she immediately perceived there was an issue & gave hugs, sympathy & some advice as she worked on my crown prep. Just a lovely lady.
