I expected it would be terribly painful but, as soon as I got the 'gas' I was out. Woke up in a recovery room a little groggy, went home (w/a friend) and didn't even need any pain meds. That was 5 years ago,now I need to go back, as some have grown on the top of my mouth.I won't go anywhere else!
